FILE REQUIREMENTS & SUBMISSION / ART GUIDELINES

Acceptable File Formats:

• Illustrator CS3 or below: Vectored – outline all fonts/text
• Photoshop CS2 or below: Provide at 150 dpi @ 100% scale; if file is larger than 500mb, please
  size at 50% output size.
• PDF: Vectored – outline all fonts/text
• .tiff or .jpg: 150 dpi @ output size
• If using In-Design, Quark or Corel, export your files as an EPS and convert all fonts to outlines.
• Illustrator and Photoshop are preferred, as they are more suitable to large format printing.
• Quark or Corel files may cause fragmented text and objects; gradients will be lost.
• If sending linked raster images, linked images must also be sent in original high-resolution
sformat for best results.
• Failure to follow above guidelines will result in design/set up charges and will delay the
  completion of your order.


Fonts:

• ALL fonts must be converted to outlines. If fonts cannot be converted to outlines, send PC fonts
  with original artwork. Failure to outline fonts/text or failure to supply fonts in PC format will result
  in additional charges resulting from our purchase of the non-outlined font(s) and will delay the
  completion of your order.


Color:

• All files must be CMYK or RGB.
• If PMS colors are used, please alert us.
• Any critical PMS colors pertaining to logos or corporate identity should be noted as Pantone.
• Coated or Uncoated, with 4-value CMYK percentages provided.

Contour/Perimeter-Cut Graphics:

• All artwork must be vectored.
• Cut lines/cut path must be supplied with file.
• Failure to supply cut lines will result in design/set up charges and will delay the completion
  of your order.


Traditional Cut Vinyl Graphics:

• All artwork must be vectored.
• Assign PMS values for color matching.

Proofs and Embedded Profiles:

• If possible, send a color proof (PDF format) with your files, so we can at least check for content.
• We will discard any embedded profiles associated with submitted files.


File Submission:

• CD and DVD
• Via email (if less than 10mb)
• FTP: www.megatrans.com; “Send or Receive File”; select “Speedpro Imaging” from the
  drop-down menu.
• All client-supplied CDs and DVDs will be discarded when order is complete unless otherwise
  indicated with file submission.
• Speedpro-corrected artwork may be requested either on disk or via email. File(s) will be
  supplied at time of payment of Speedpro invoice for the corresponding job.
